Scared-Cat Splat by Rob Scotton.
It's Halloween, and Splat is determined to be the scariest cat in the class. Unfortunately he's just too much of a scaredy-cat. He's afraid of a little spider, and everyone says his costume looks more silly than scary. And when Mrs. Wimpydimple tells a ghost story in the dark, Splat gets so frightened that he tips over his jack-o'-lantern. But when the lights go back on, the entire class is scared silly by a small, black, furry creature with a big pumpkin head. Whooooo can it be?
Please join us for lots of fun, singing and a wonderful story.

The children had so much fun and so did the parents.  81 children and 34 adults came to play with the farm animals.  Thank you Karen for bringing such cute little animals.

It's a hot summer day, and Brownie and Pearl are off to take a dip in their small blue backyard pool. They grab their bathing suits, their beach ball, and their super-chic sunglasses and get ready to soak. But when--oops!--Pearl takes a surprise spill into the water, will Brownie be able to revive her pal's sopping-wet spirits? Complete with lemonade and sunbathing, this Brownie & Pearl story subtly models conflict resolution--and is incredibly refreshing!

Come join us as Brownie and Pearl have a fun day with their wading pool.  Today our Every Child Ready to Read is based on Print Motivation.  Cute stories like this help a child want to read and print.
We will sing silly songs and hear our wonderful story.  We will create butterflies for our craft.  We hope to see you here.
