Our story this week is Blame It on the Rain by Jennifer Liberts Weinberg.  Moo-Moo the cow was left out in the rain. Doc's diagnosis is Squishy-itis. Will doc McStuffins have a cure for this sad, soggy cow?
This is great story for reading over and over again.  There are cute pictures, and short pages to help keep your child's attention.
Our Every Child Ready to Read this month is Narrative skills.  Narrate your life. As you go through your day, talk about some of the things you are doing. Explain them in simple terms: First we‘ll put on your shirt, then we’ll go to the kitchen, and then we’ll make breakfast. This helps children understand that stories have a beginning, middle and end.

Please join us for silly songs, fun craft and this wonderful story.

Our story this week motivates children to read. With wonderful pictures and a great story children are excited to hear how Olivia's garden does.

Our Every Child Ready to Read is Print Motivation.  All books that you read to your child promote Print Motivation.  They get excited to know they will be able to read like mommy and daddy.

Please join us for our story, sing silly songs and create a fun craft.

Our story this week is "Librarian on the Roof" by M. G. King.  When RoseAleta Laurell begins her new job at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library in Lockhart, Texas, she is surprised that the children of the town think the library is for adults. She vows to raise the money for a children's section and spends a week living and working on the library roof, even surviving a dangerous storm. With the help of the entire town, RoseAleta raises over $39,000 from within the community and across the country.

Our Every Child Ready to Read theme is Narrative skills.  This book is a book that you can read over and over again to your child.  You can also go on the internet to www.av2books.com and hear this enchanting story.

We will sing some silly songs, create a spring craft and hear this wonderful story.
